|What I've written so far in my novel, Psychedelia.|
Hello! My name is Megan L. Lucas, though you can call me by my icon if that's easier for you. I try not to give a shit about what anyone else thinks, but that usually doesn't work. I'm 18, and an aspiring writer who more often than not has writer's block. The biggest project I'm working on right now is my historical fiction piece (though it's more of a period drama), Psychedelia. It's a story I've been developing and writing and planning and rewriting for three years as of August 5. The story centers around a teenage girl named Carol Brenner whose life falls apart over the course of several years in the 1960s. Other projects I plan to do include Broken Stars, and Sweet Summer 1969, both of which I have not worked on recently (in favor of planning my NaNoWriMo novel).
I don't draw nearly as much as I used to, so more than likely what I post on here will be novel-related or old sketches. However, I do still have a great appreciation for art and photography, so I will spend a lot of time browsing and favoriting deviations. This is not my first time on this website (I had two other accounts, one of which when I was underage), so I'm not new to a lot of things around here (like art theft). However the art I posted on my previous accounts was not worth stealing, though I do like to think that I've improved since then.
I'm sort of a nerd. I like history, particularly the 20th century, and am not really interested in things that should interest a teenage girl. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and a fan of film in general. My favorite band is The Beatles, though recently I've also come to like The Chainsmokers. My favorite show is The 100, and I enjoy several others: Call the Midwife, Mad Men, Skins, That 70s Show, Bob's Burgers, Regular Show, Steven Universe, others... I also used to watch Doctor Who and Legend of Korra, though do not enjoy them as much anymore. These days I spend most of my energy playing The Sims 3 and Pokemon Go instead of writing, but I plan on changing that eventually.
Other things you should probably know is that I might flood your watch box occasionally, particularly because I'm trying to archive a lot of my previous works.
Well, I think that's about it. You know everything there is to know!
